Forget It – Rick wrote this song for me

Alone together we should be
Don’t turn away everything is right
Tonight
There is no one to say

Forget about it Forget about it
Forget about it all
Forget it Forget about it
Forget about it all
Tonight Tonight

Driven to silence with a secret dream
You and me exactly like we seem
No one can stop the night
Don’t let them tell you it isn’t right

Forget about it
Forget about it
Forget about it all
Forget it
Forget about it
Forget about it all
Tonight
Tonight

Everybody’s got their own selfish plan
If they’d just leave us alone
I know I could make you understand me
I know you want to understand me

Why don’t they leave
Why don’t they leave us alone
Tonight
Why don’t they leave
Why don’t they leave us alone
Tonight

Everybody wants to hold your hand
Everybody’s got a selfish plan Tonight
Do let them give their bad advice

Forget about it Forget about it
Forget about it all
Forget it Forget about it
Forget about it all
Tonight Tonight

Forget about it all

Rick wrote this for me to forget my guilt and my angst about what was going on in my life at the time. When I was visiting him on Saturday and playing random songs on my  phone this song came up and as I listened I sobbed and put my sunglasses on to hide my tears from him. He said “you look cool!” because of the sunglasses, and it was nice to spend time. How will I ever endure this long goodbye with a horrible ending? Maybe someday I won’t be so gloomy on this blog but this is a tremendous loss not have him.

He was truly amazing!
